Keep the original
Check the source program and format variant. PAT or XSD alone does not identify a compatible file.
Choose the file
Select Open chart and your file. The app’s Supported formats and transfer explains its supported variants.
Review archive and progress choices
For a ZIP containing several charts, choose the one you need. Read any Progress from another app warning before accepting an import without those marks.
Check the chart
In Review imported chart, compare dimensions, thread codes, colors and warnings with the original, then choose Create Project. Ordinary PDFs open directly.
Use a readable fallback
If protection or unsupported stitches block import, export a PDF with its thread key from the source program. Keep it as the reference; do not rename the extension.
